Uploading GoPro MP4 Videos on YouTube

Q: Why Gopro Video won't upload on Youtube?

Hello, I recently purchased Gopro Hero3 Black edition and recorded some videos but it wont upload on youtube. Everytime I try it gets stuck at "processing" and then later gives me error video failed to process. When I go to Video manager to check the error it says "Failed (unable to convert video file)". I don't know what format these videos are recorded in but isnt gopros default format accepted by youtube?

At first I thought maybe its because I am recording in 1440p but then I lowered it down to 1080p @ 60fps that didnt work and then I called gopro and the guy suggested me try 1080p @ 30fps but that didn't work either. So any help on how can I fix this?

PS: My Gopro is updated to latest update and im using safari browser to upload, also have tried firefox and chrome on mac to upload but same error. Havent tried to upload from windows PC but I doubt that's the problem...
